This beautiful love story has been making the rounds on Nigeria social media. A quick search seem to confirm that the couple, Thomas and Oyewobi Faith Thomas got married early this year. Below is what the proud groom wrote about meeting his beautiful wife online, the subsequent long distance dating and all the challenges they faced. Read after the cut...

"Love knows no colour or distance, our relationship proved that as my beautiful wife Faith is from Nigeria and I'm from England, we met online and the distances seemed impossible and we had people on both sides telling us it isn't real, it's a scam, and if it isn't, that we are too different for it to work out.

And we will only end up giving up and much more. But our love for each other grew so did our strength. To the point that we were willing to do anything to be together, as my loving wife proved by waiting a whole year for me to travel to meet her, as much as it was so difficult for her, coz she got mucked couple of times but am so glad she got support of her family that helped her through it. So we ignored everyone and I travelled to her, we are now married and we are about to start our beautiful mixed family. True love conquers all and will always prevail. Paramedic guy accused of sexually assaulting female colleagues while on duty ‘had erection as he drove ambulance’

A male paramedic David Lee, 31, has been accused of groping the breasts of his female colleague and having an erection while she fetched kit from their ambulance to treat a patient. The 26-year-old female witness said on Tuesday in court:

“He started to become a bit sleazier and flirtatious as the shift went on.He was like a puppy that always needed attention.  He got some gloves down my top and asked if he could help get them back. I was exhausted.

“He said to me ‘this is what you do to me’ and pointed down at his crotch. He had an erection in the ambulance while he was driving. He just kept asking if I would touch it – saying that if I did then he’d leave me alone. He took his penis out of his trousers. He exposed himself. I laughed in disbelief. Later he grabbed my breasts over my clothing — it was like a bear hug from behind.”

She said:

“He came up behind me and grabbed my breasts over my clothing and started thrusting his penis onto my bum. It was like a bear hug from behind.”It just came out of nowhere.”

Lee's defence counsel David Moggach accused the witness of engaging in “flirtatious behavior” with Lee and wondered why she didn't come forward since or report to her manager when she noticed the behavior from Lee, to which she denied the allegations totally.

The woman replied: “That’s a complete lie. I felt too intimidated to come forward.”

Prosecutors claim Lee groped the breast of four of his colleagues  and spoke to them in an inappropriate sexual manner while at work.

The incidents happened between 2013-2015 and Lee has denied 15 sex offences against five women at the sheriff court of Westhill, near Aberdeen.

Karl Lagerfeld reacts to Kim K's robbery incident...kinda blames her

Fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld has reacted to Kim's Paris robbery and blamed Kim for flaunting her wealth. He said;

"You cannot display your wealth and then be surprised that some people want to share it with you….If you’re that famous and you put all your jewellery on the net, you go to hotels where nobody can come near to the room….I think it’s a very bad thing for Paris but I don’t understand why she was in a hotel with no security,’ Image wise, I think it is very bad. We make all of these efforts to make Paris appealing and then this happens. Apparently they were people from Eastern Europe.’

"My life will always go on" - says Abdulmumin Jibrin as he shares photos from his personal office

6 days ago, National Assembly staff and security operatives sealed off the office of sacked chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin, who was suspended for 180 sitting days and also barred him from positions of authority in the House till the end of the 8th assembly.


Jibrin was suspended following his refusal to appear before the House of Representatives Committee on Ethics and privileges to address the allegations of budget padding he leveled against the Speaker and 13 other lawmakers.


However, Life goes on for him! Jibrin shared photos from his personal office today and wrote: "This morning I sat on the same seat I left 5 years ago to join the House-my peaceful office at Green Forest LTD-it looks beautiful than the "sealed" one😷😜...my life will always go on...Masha Allah, Praise be to God!"

The concierge opened the door to Kim K's door...he's now the key witness in the Paris robbery

Read the TMZ report below...

"The concierge who was taken up Kim Kardashian's private elevator and opened the door to a $10 million jewelry heist has become the critical witness ... sources connected to the case tell TMZ.

We're told Kim has downloaded Paris cops about her interactions with the concierge. We've learned on Tuesday Kim had an extensive interview with cops by phone and told them the following: --

The concierge was handcuffed when he opened the door to her apartment. -- As she put it,

"He opened the door and led them [the robbers] up and was in there the whole time." -- Kim told police she engaged the concierge in conversation, saying, "Are we gonna die?" He calmly responded, "I don't know." --

Kim, we're told, made a point to cops that the concierge was extremely calm, despite being cuffed and held at gunpoint. --

Kim says when the robbers left the apartment they took the concierge with them and deposited him in the lobby where his hands were still cuffed.

Photos: Middle aged woman electrocuted in Lagos

A middle aged woman identified as Mrs Okanlawon Florence was today electrocuted in her residence at Shokoya Close off Dapson Street, Oke Ira Ojodu LCDA  Lagos state. According to reports, the woman died while attempting to turn off her refrigerator following a fire outbreak from a PHCN transformer close to her house.

The deceased's 14 year old daughter identified as Okanlawon Taiwo was also affected by the fire from the transformer and is currently receiving medical attention at the General Hopital Ifako Ijaye.
It was gathered that the electrocuted woman died as a result of severe burns sustained.

Preliminary report gathered by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA showed that the fire emanated from a high voltage 25kva transformer ( a 4 building mini transformer) which affected four buildings namely , House number 4, 7, 9a & 9b whose power supply emanate from the transformer .

However, the fire was quickly put out by combined effort of bystanders and emergency response team from the state.
